Runes of Magic would not be a real MMORPG without an abundance of adjustment possibilities.

Interface Design

The wheel does not need to be reinvented when it already works perfectly.

In this regard, those coming from other MMORPG's should feel right at home in Runes of Magic.

Minimap, large map, avatar with life points, quest objectives, action bars, chat window, mouseover tooltips for enemies and much much more...

Expandable / Scalable / Movable

One great thing about Runes of Magic is that players have so many possibilities from the very start. One can move just about everything in the interface freely. The action bars can be placed anywhere the player wants and can be extended or shortened (up to 20 actions per bar!). The map can be scaled to the players' preferred size and can even be made transparent.

Interface Modifications

There are of course always those players, who want even more then that which we will have to offer. For all of you who have programmed add-ons and interface modifications, or would like to, no problem!

We offer not only a LUA interface for reading data, but also XML, so you can create your own add-ons!

Macros

While we're on the developing subject, macros are also a basic function of Runes of Magic.

By using macros, you can combine the effects of certain items with skills with one click, making attack combinations much easier to activate in the heat of battle. This of course is just one of the many possibilities. A list of the different possibilities will be made available to you in good time.

Backpack / Bags

Everyone knows the problem with inventory space, you collect and collect until your pockets are bulging and you can no longer cope with the mess. The inventory in Runes of Magic is all in one place and can therefore be somewhat messy...

But with one small click on the sort button, all potions, quest items, armor etc. will be organized and sorted. And if that's not enough, there are also extra buttons for each category of equipment.

And when you have simply collected too many items and need to dispose of some trash, you do not need to constantly drag and drop items to get rid of them in Runes of Magic. Just click the "trash" button, click the objects which are no longer wanted and then click "delete", that's it!

Minimap

The minimap is extremely informative in Runes of Magic. Not only does it show a small part of the area you are currently in, but monsters you need to kill, plants which need to be collected or anything else related to a quest you have accepted will be indicated on the minimap as well.

Map

With the maps free scalability, it acts as a great overview of the zone you are currently in. Here you can see, among other things, all available quests which are indicated with golden exclamation marks. In the cities one can see all kinds of different services such as traders, trainers, the auction house, bank and many other important places.
