Release for Chapter II - The Elven Prophecy!
In the course of a multi-stage launch-phase we will officially release the final content of Runes of Magic's second chapter on 15 September 2009.
Before that final date we will deploy a larger content update to the servers. On the same day, a boxed version of ‘Chapter II - The Elven Prophecy’ will be available in German, French and Spanish retail stores for 9,90 Euros (RRP).
Included in the box are the game client on DVD and several box-exclusive collector's items!
Players will have access to a Manticore pet, following them on their journey, a printed manual and a poster-sized world map of Taborea.
Additionally buyers will have a time-limited mount at their disposal: a Thunder Wartiger.
Second Chapter hits the shelves on 15 September!
To help players on their first steps in the game's world, a starter-bundle worth more than 10 Euros is also included with the box.
The experience potion, for example, will for some time help players level faster, they may decorate their own in-game house with a special carpet or can use the included materials to improve their weapons and armor.
In August we will release the first set of features and content to the live servers, opening the "Weeping Coast" to players and pushing the level cap to 52!
The upcoming expansion will be free to download! Only the box will require you to visit the stores!
