Things are hotting up in Taborea – the ‘Aotulia Volcano’ is about to erupt. The new territory in Runes of Magic has for centuries been the land of imposed exile for the malevolent Naga people. The next content update opens up the gates into this region, criss-crossed with boiling lava flows.

This is where the snake-like beings were banished following their defeat in the great war against the alliance of the Elves and the humans. Separated from the rest of Taborea by a magical wall of banishment, they have been waiting for years and years for the opportunity to break out. After the barrier fell, they conquered the northwest of Taborea. Now adventurers will at last have the opportunity to advance into the heart of the Naga invasion.

Here, under the ashen skies, is where heroes can make their final steps on the way to the max level of 55, once they have left the ‘Savage Lands’ behind them. Numerous quests will unravel the history of the desolate zone around the volcano. A gigantic city at the foot of the volcano and new dungeons wait to be explored as you pursue your brave adventures.

The new territory of the ‘Aotulia Volcano’ (check out our content page) will be opened up to all players at the end of September, which is when the new content update is expected to be uploaded onto the servers.
