With the Open Beta coming soon and a larger influx of players expected to join our boards, we are currently reviewing and taking organisational steps to streamline and improve our assistance for the Runes of Magic community.
One of these changes is that from now on our "RoM-Supporters" are now called "Mentors". We want to avoid the new, inexperienced forum users, mistaking our voluntary helpers for our official Customer Support Representatives.
Here's an overview of the different types of officials and semi-officials you see posting on the boards:
Community Manager (CM)
Official Liason between the Company and the Community
The CM works with external fan sites, posting news and announcements on the official site, organises and runs events and is in general responsible for everything that is community related.

Game Master (GM)
The Game Masters are official Customer Support Representatives of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH. Their role is to run the day-to-day support in-game and on the boards. They resolve our players' technical and game issues and have the last say on any issues between the players. They are the only ones that can reprimand players for misbehaviour.

Mentor (formerly "RoM-Supporter")
Mentors are trusted members of our community that have volunteered to aid their fellow players on the boards and in game, giving advice and counsel. Their role is to keep an watchful eye on things and let the GMs know if there is any issue on the boards and in game that needs our attention. They have a limited number of permissions on the boards (move, open, lock and merge threads).
