Noises of swords meeting swords, the twanging of bow strings and the discharge of magical energy were heard from the outside. Torches danced like fireflies above the heads of the combatants - almost unable to pierce the darkness. The fight had been raging for half an eternity but neither side showed any sign of weariness. No one wanted to give up just yet.

The injured helped each other back to town only to be patched up again and being sent back to the front.

It was a futile fight. Darkness was everywhere, the defenders lost sight of each other within a few feet while the attackers furiously charged into every breach only to be thrown back by sheer luck and determination of the defending force.

The seals had crumbled, hell itself was unleashed - servants of evil had helped bringing the darkness to Taborea.
