Would you like to protect yourself and your account? Or have you been hacked?
You’ll find all the information you need here. The following points will show you how to seek help, provide you with support if your account has fallen into the hands of a hacker, and how to better protect yourself and your account in the future.

 

Has your account been hacked?

If you have experienced one or more of the following it is possible that your account has been compromised:
 

• You can no longer log into the game
• Your equipment is missing
• Your gold has disappeared

Creating a Ticket in the Support System

  Choose 'Register with us’ to the top-right of the support system screen and then click ‘Create a new account’. You must
  then enter your username and password. Required fields are denoted with a red asterisk*. Please note that the email
  address you enter must be the same address you supplied when you created your game account. After you have
  confirmed the details entered you will immediately be logged into the system. Now click on the ‘Ask a question’ button to
  send an enquiry to support.

 

 

Scanning your PC for harmful software

 

Be sure to scan your computer for harmful software before you set-up a new password. There are a variety of programs online which can help you search for viruses and keyloggers on your computer which are available for free.
Here are a few examples:

Antivirus Programs:

• Avira (as a download)
• Trend Micro House Call (Online test – in German only)

Mal- and Spyware Scanners (scans for Trojans/Keyloggers):

• Lavasoft 
• Safer Networking

Changing your Login Name and Password

 

You can change your login names and passwords here :
 

• Password & Login for Playtoo Accounting: under the tab, ‘Personal Data’ in Playtoo Accounting.
• Game account password: under the tab, ‘Game Accounts“ in Playtoo Accounting.
• Forum Login Name & Password: under the tab, ‘Game Accounts’ inm Playtoo Accounting.

If you forget a password you can request a new one here. 

 

Tips for Creating Passwords

Your password should meet the following requirements:
 

• It must contain between 6 and 32 characters
• It should consist of upper- and lower-case letters
• It must contain at least one number
• It shouldn’t contain any proper nouns (names of places or people) or a list of letters or numbers as they appear on the keyboard
• Please choose a unique password. This password should not be used for other websites or accounts
  

• Incorrect: ‘qwerty’ or '123456'
• Correct: ‘C4tSAr3Cut3’ or ‘h4cK3r4R3n00Bs’
