The ‘Dungeon of Dalanis’ is the first new dungeon for six players which will be introduced into the game in May along with the main release of Runes of Magic ‘Chapter III – The Elder Kingdoms’.

Deep beneath the metropolis of Dalanis, a dungeon for aristocratic criminals has lain hidden for centuries. In ‘Chapter III – The Elder Kingdoms’, workers find a secret entrance and experience first-hand the terror that lurks within these ruins which is the access to the city of the King. While a corrupt prince uses the ruins for terrible experiments in order to snatch the rule of the kingdom for himself, the King's latest decree orders groups of adventurer from level 57 right into the front line to drive the terrors of the dungeon from the city and to destroy Prince Maxim Erekat III.

This character is simultaneously the end boss in the two available difficulty levels in this instance – a newly introduced feature in Chapter III. But four further boss opponents must first of all be overcome, all of them creatures arising from Maxim’s hideous experiments. Among these, Experiment No. 203: a cross between a lion, an eagle and a snake, or Okander "Mad Man" Mallen, a member of an evil band of robbers, reincarnated through forbidden rune magic.
