WARNING! IF YOU VIOLATE ONE OF THESE RULES, FROGSTER ONLINE GAMING GMBH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE YOUR RUNES OF MAGIC MEMBERSHIP.

THE RULES ARE:

  1. You may not harass or threaten other players in any form in Runes of Magic or in our forums and you may not use information you get in-game to harass people out of the game.
  2. You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language. This includes all communication with other players.
    Note: We encourage role-playing in our game, but remember that role-playing is no excuse for harassment. If you want to play an obnoxious role, you have a great responsibility to avoid hurting other people’s feelings. These social guidelines take precedence over role-playing in a conflict
  3. You may not impersonate any Frogster Online Gaming GmbH employee, including but not limited to game masters and other customer support personnel.
  4. You may not advertise any commercial products, Ponzi Schemes, chain letters or anything similar in Runes of Magic, on our website or in our forums.
  5. You may not violate any local, state, national or international law or regulation for the location you are playing from while playing Runes of Magic.
  6. You may not modify the Runes of Magic website, forums or client without the expressive written consent of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH.
  7. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated or illegal software using the Runes of Magic client, website or forums or use the game, website or forums for any other illegal activity.
  8. You may not use any character, guild or ship names or form any guilds that are of racist, sexist, anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-homosexual or hate mongering nature.
  9. You may only use the Runes of Magic client for legal ingame activities and not use any bugs or exploits.
  10. You may not publish any personal data of Runes of Magic users on our website, in our forums or ingame.
  11. You may not enter false information (e.g. personal data, email address, bank account) data when registering a Runes of Magic account.
  12. You may not upload or transmit any copyrighted content that you do not own the rights to when using Runes of Magic, our website or our forums without the written consent of the copyright holder.
  13. You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running Runes of Magic.
  14. You will not exploit any bug in Runes of Magic and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in game for a character of their profession and level), either directly or through public posting, to any other Runes of Magic players.
  15. You will not attempt to play Runes of Magic on any server that is not controlled or authorized by Frogster Online Gaming GmbH.
  16. You will not create, use or provide any server emulator or other site where Runes of Magic may be played, and you will not post or distribute any utilities, emulators or other software tools related to Runes of Magic without the express written consent of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH .
  17. You will not hinder other people enjoying the game according to the rules and you will not use ingame activities that would bring Frogster Online Gaming GmbH additional costs.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU WILL ABIDE BY THESE RULES.

YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EVERYBODY USING YOUR ACCOUNT WILL ABIDE BY THESE RULES AND THAT YOU ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT IS DONE WITH YOUR ACCOUNT AND THAT YOU COULD LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT EVEN IF THE RULE VIOLATION ISN´T DONE BY YOURSELF; BUT BY SOMEBODY ELSE YOU GAVE YOUR ACCOUNT DATA.
