Summer Event
Welcome to the Catch-the-Frog Summer Event!
Between 1 July and 31 July 2009 a new NPC will set up camp in Sascillia Steppes, handing out a special task to all characters between level 1 and 5: A magical incident has happened spawning dozens of frogs across the Sascilia Steppes.
It is now up to our players to kill these frogs wherever they find them and collect the tokens they drop.
Catch as many frogs as you can and win a high-end Runes of Magic branded Ultraforce PC or a MSI GT 725 Gaming Notebook!
Teaming up with top-spec hardware specialist MSI Computer and ROCCAT manufacturer of award-winning gaming peripherals, we organised an event that will make your time in Taborea even more worthwhile!

Entry Conditions
General
Participation in "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event" is non-binding and free of charge.
All players accepting the quest "Summer Gap Event" in Sascillia Steppes are automatically participating in the contest. The event takes place on all german and english EU servers. Withdrawing from the competition is possible by sending an e-mail to Frogster Online Gaming GmbH (support@runesofmagic.com) before 01 August 2009.
The contest starts on 1 July 2009 and ends on 31 July 2009.
Determination of the winners will start on 1 August 2009.
Prerequisites for entry
The competition is open to any person that is 12 years or older at the time of entry and resident within the European Union. By entering the competition the entrants confirm their agreement with the applicable rules. Legal recourse is excluded. Excluded from participation are employees of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH and of Frogster Interactive Pictures AG as well as their relatives.
We reserve the right to disqualify participants and to exclude them from "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event" if they manipulate the entry procedure, the system and/or the draw/pages or try to do so and/or contravene the entry conditions or offend common decency and/or otherwise attempt to influence the "competition" in an unfair and/or improper manner.
Winners
The winners will be determined after completion of "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event".
Players who have accepted the quest "Summer Gap Event" in the game Runes of Magic are required to defeat opponents in the game specified by the quest description. For each defeated opponent they gather "Frogster Coins".
Note: Players need to have a character in the range between level 1 and level 5 to accept the quest.
Note: "Frogster Coins" are non-tradable.
The prizes will then be distributed between the seven players with the most "Frogster Coins" on the same game-character. Should more than seven players have accumulated the same amount of "Frogster Coins" seven winners are randomly drawn from all eligible players.
The "prize" cannot be transferred to third parties. Legal recourse is excluded.
Declaration of consent
By entering the competition "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event" the entrants declare their consent to the production of sound and image recordings at no cost.
Simultaneously, the entrant grants Frogster Online Gaming GmbH and Frogster Interactive Pictures AG all copyright-related usage rights, ancillary copyrights, personal and other rights (e.g. merchandizing, ancillary printing rights, online/Internet and database rights) in the sound and/or image recordings produced during participation in "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event" at no cost, including the right in one's own image as well as legal protection of one's name and all usage rights therein on an exclusive basis. The entrant shall desist from enforcing any claims by way of injunction or arrest or any claims for payment whatsoever.
Liability
All liability of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH and Frogster Interactive Pictures AG for the technical preconditions existing for a timely participation in "Catch-the-Frog Summer Event" is excluded.
